Sunday at Davenport started out 4.7-5.0 till about 2 pm, then picked up
to op'd 4.2 for me (#185), though the girls were complaining about being
op'd on 3.9's. Sets were chest to over-head high, a little mushy. Was
breaking at both upper and lower reef, though most were at the upper
reef. Some hardy souls did go to the lower reef, but I was playing it
conservative, and it seemed like there was lots of whitewater there. The
channel was almost closed out. Swells were 8-10' on the outside.
