I stopped for a couple of days in Tarifa last July on my honeymoon. They
were having a bad year and it really didn't blow while I was there (people
were out on big Slalom stuff- not my bag) the town of Tarifa is fantastic!
The town has a ton of history and lot's of great places to eat & drink.
Thep people are as friendly as any US windsurfing destination.

Since there was no sailing, we went to Morocco, a day trip which I highly
recommend. You can email me if you want add'l info at- Jon@LiveToPlay.com-DeleteThis

Rodrigo, you are a lucky pal.

You should enjoy great windsurfing during your stay in Tarifa. Let me assure
you, windsurfing will be great. And while not quite as "happening" as during
July and August, Tarifa can be quite a lively place in Spring.

As far as comprehensive info, albeit the sometimes choppy English, this
pages have all you need to know:

http://www.windsurfesp.com/surf_spot/spotspain/ftarifa_x.htm

http://www.tarifa.net/default.htm

The Bay is a great place to live and sail, but Tarifa... that's something
else. Tarifa is a way of life.

Enjoy and share your tale.
Manuel.
