Hey George,
I am so pissed that I could have been powered at coyote, when I was
[picking my nose] at Genetech.
Next, something strange about your email, my netscape email couldn't
display it properly. I was able to read it by "viewing source", and
then noticed it had some weird headers, and the text was there in both a
plain text format and html format. I don't know if anyone else has
these problems, but if they do, they may just think your email is blank
and trash it.
Now that I go back and look at other emails you wrote, all the ones I
have via wind_talk, I am unable to see without viewing the source, but
the ones by different means, direct via cc, I can see fine.
I have noticed something about the emails you send, a header:
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0049_01BF3866.5BD3F3A0"
comes through exactly like that directly, 2 lines, but on the emails
through the wind_talk, the second line, starting with "boundary ..." is
not there. I think that is causing my email client confussion.
I think the problem is that the wind_talk list server is either
stripping the "boundary" part, or is unable to pass the email exatly as
is.
Either way, I suggest you set your Outlook Express to send plain text on
email to the wind_talk. You can do this via menu: tools | options |
"send" tab, check "plain text" in "mail sending format" section.
Also, let me know if you want SFBA email addresses for your new
eNewsletter.
