Curious if there is any opportunity to utilize this new facility (just
North of Livermore) for our favorite activity? Apparently, a marina
supporting boat access will open in next few months (see Chronicle article
in East Bay section on 12/9/99, titled "A New Oasis").
Are windsurfers considered boats for such a facility? I expect swimming
may not be allowed due to drinking water concerns. Of course, we never
fall in and our wetsuits are carefully designed to contain "spills", so
that's not a problem, right?
The photo showed a line of power windmills on crest of hill in background,
which I take as a good sign. However, I expect that, just as with Del
Valle, it may not be the greatest spot due to those same hills.
