If it's a tuttle, just unswrew until you are only threaded a couple of
threads and then tap both sides. I imagine the same thing for powerbox.
For standard, the rubber mallet works as well as anyting else.

Ja! I bought a small rubber mallot for this very purpose and it works like
a charm. Try wrapping the fin with a towel too to further reduce chances of
damage to the fin or board.
