LASIK is a very common procedure. Over one thousand laser vision correction procedures are performed each day in the US and close to one million have been performed year to date. The results are exceptional with some studies showing 98% of patients obtaining vision 20/40 or better (good enough to drive without glasses) and 85% with vision 20/20 or better.
