I moved here because the last winter I was there, the low temp hit MINUS
30 DEGREES (without windchill)
and I couldn't take it anymore.
If you can deal with that, it's a good area to raise kids and has a
great windsurfing community.
As for wind, just expect to chase a lot of frontal systems.
Get a 7.5 and a dry suit. :) :)
