Folks,
I know a bunch of you are aware that I've been working with/for Ezzy sails for
the last few months and will continue to do so for a long time to come. The
reason I'm writing to you now is to tell you that Jesse Brown, Dave Ezzy's right
hand man in the Maui sail loft and kick ass wave sailor (he's been ripping up
the amateur division of the USWA for the past year and will probably go pro next
year) is going to be at Helm of Sun Valley tomorrow (Tuesday August 3rd) at
10:00 AM to give a clinic on Ezzy sails.
Jesse helps Dave design, build, and test all the wave sails in the Ezzy line.
Not only will he be able to tell you how to rig the sails the way they were
designed to, but he can also give you insight as to what they were trying to
achieve with each design point. I've met Jesse before and he's a very
knowledgeable individual who will be able to answer almost any question you may
have about Ezzy sails.
I know 10 AM on a weekday is not the most convenient time for a clinic, but
that's how the schedule fell out. So all of you Ezzy sailors or Ezzy wannabees
who'd like to get some more insight into the Ezzy sail line please stop by Helm
at 10 AM tomorrow. We'll be there for about 1 1/2 hours to try to answer any and
all of your questions. If you have any questions beforehand, please give me a
call or e-mail me today. Also, if you know anybody who'd be interested in this
that isn't on Windtalk, please pass this message on to them
Thanks --> Greg Gavalakis
