Hi,

We like the Sunset RV Park. Not too many spaces so you may need a
reservation. It is away from the noisy trains (unlike the state parks). It is
close to downtown and the sailing sites at the Event Site, Marina and the
Hook. It is across from a shopping center and near Wal-Mart and our favorite
restaurant, Monteros (good Mexican-reasonable prices).

We bring ou own equipment so can't recommend any rental places but there are
many to choose from.
