Maui is great in July, this is the peak season for wind, unless you are
looking for big wave sailing earlier in the year. Kihei has many options
with condos starting with a simple one room to many larger options. There
are several board rental places near the airport and the equipment is quite
good. I signed up with Windsurfing West several times and was quite happy.
Check the web, I am sure that you'll find a lot of info. Good luck and have
fun.

Subject: Maui and Costa Rica in July
Anyone got tips on visiting Maui or Costa Rica in July.
In particular, what are the options for a non-package type
arrangement. ie book flight and perhaps accommodation and
then just rent day to day and tour about as desired.
Any good accommodation tips in Maui. I will most likely be
on my own. I could even camp
Any idea about wind in Costa Rica in July?
Reply direct or to list - if you think it is of wider
interest.
