Hi Peter,
You might want to call the folks at California Windsurfing.
They've been renting boards at the lagoon for a long
time, and can probably give a good indication of
the change in sailing type throughout the years.
Also, there are a bunch of one-design sailors who
race there Tuesday nights. There's a contact number
for the guy who organizes the races in Windsurfing magazine
(under the Events section).
