Thank you Pierre for predicting wind at the coast... right on !

Got to Davenport a little bit after 1 and there were already 3 guys
out ripping it out. Waves were logo+ high, in sets of 3 to 4, with
nice breaks in between and smaller at time. Perfect !
The waves got smaller later on, more like head high or so.

ended up going out on my brand new spanking Ezzy 5.2 wave sail I
just received in the mail the day before ! talk about perfect timing !
Should have definitely been on my 4.7 (185#) but I had to try it out...

sailed until 3:40 to take a break, at which point the wind started dying
fast on the inside. Most guys were coming back in, and I never went back
out. 2 1/2 hours was plenty anyway... :-)

What a great day... and so late in the season ! but you definitely need
to get there really early.

Next week I'm off to maui for 10 days. Got to chase the wind (and warm
water)...
