got to davenport around 3. Small waves, with occasional head/logo
sets coming in, but not often. Rigged a 5.3 and was ok on the inside,
but way overpowered outside (185#) but tried to hold on just in case
the wind decreased. AFter 1/2 hour, I couldn't hold on anymore so I came
in to rig down to a 4.7. By the time I rigged down, the wind was coming
down fast and most people were coming in. Went out and slugged most of
the time, barely planning way out.

The way back was a nice balancing act... :-)

Some brave souls (joan, + 2 others) decided to go out and slog
around when everyone had already packed and gone home. I stayed and
watched. By 6 all 3 were planning again and there were some nice
sets comming in at times...

COW waddell report looks dead on this time...
