3rd Ave was huge. Very strong winds and big swell. I was overpowered on
a 5.3, 8'11" (215lbs) from 3:30 to 6:30. Sections were very gusty especially
out by the barges.
Saturday, Bob Prevett and I sailed Embassy Suites from 4:30 to 6:30, 6.6. Fully
powered and OP'd for the last 1/2 hour. The wind filled in to the launch.
Great conditions for planing jibes. We were the only ones out for most of the
time. Still cranking when it got dark.
Pierre's wind alert was right-on for Friday, so hopefully he can make
it 2 for 2 tomorrow -- bring your gear to work!
