Subject: Davis Point Tuesday

Foggy at Berkely, foggy at Pt. Isabel, windy at Rio (but flooding--and a
long drive at rush hour).

Davis Point? Sunny, warm, windy. Filled in to the beach, I went out on a 4.6
(140 #, max downhaul), worried that I would be way overpowered in the
channel. A perfect choice. Just a bit overpowered at times. Nice ramps, nice
rollers, good port jumps, even some on starboard.

So where was everybody? Sailed from 3 to 4:30, left and never saw another
person. Either on the water or the beach.

It may be the same tomorrow. If the 2:00 p.m bouy report is 20 or higher,
head to Davis Point. It was 22 today.

Jerry
