The COTW pager worked, though. It showed 18 at 3:00 and 20-22 from 4 to 6.
This agreed with my experience - the 6.0 was right from 3:30 to 4, and
was a handful from 4-6. My 5.4 would have been perfect, but I was too
afraid of the abrupt shutdowns we've been getting lately.

Ignore the 3rd Ave sensor. It's junk. Not worth looking at. At 3:30
it read 12 mph while I planed off from the beach (which takes 18 mph).
I don't think any amount of correction will fix it because it is
sometimes beyond the windline, but usually not.
