Yeah, take the 101 to Embarcadero, take Embarcadero East, keep on going
past the palo alto airport, at the stop sign take a left, past the duck
pond and follow the road as it curves round to the right (I use road in
the broadest sense of the word here). Eventually you reach a big
circular parking lot type place - the launch is in the far corner.
Beware the tides though - at low tide there is only a thin channel to
get out to the bay. Never actually sailed there, but its where I go for
lunch cos I work 5 mins away.
