Is everyone's memory better than mine? I forgot what you weigh, Justin.

My guess is I needed a 6.5 NOA on my sinking 285 to have had more fun
but a board that would float me and be manageable in the gusts is
probably needed too rather than a big, boxy, 9'6" ASD race board.
Sometimes those 10' BIC boards look reasonable for us big guys when I
see little 160lbers having fun on 8'10"ish boards.

Any big guys have any ideas? Peter at ~160 was on a 5.0 KOA and 8'11"
Forsythe and said he had fun, though I saw him swimming and walking
too. Is there a board with enough flotation to get us back and still be
fun at 3rd in an ebb or Coyote on a really gusty day? Same for
Crissy....need a barge to get to the wind and then have a shape that can
sail 25 knot winds.

ASD epoxy: 8'8" & 9' RKT & 9'6" no-nose CS, F2 Xantos285
Wt 230#, Ht. 6'0", Usually sail on SF Bay, Cailf.
