that what I'm thinking of doing. As far as the wind though, looking at wind
chart from vela, it looks like feb/march are as windy as the summer, plus you
get the waves. Will see.. :-)

That's the problem with vela. Their rental packages are for contiguous days
only (not like I'm gonna sail 11 days in a row, even if the wind blows each
day) and if you use 2-3 days sections with a day off in between (which is
more expensive) you still need to pick the exact dates. They only "reumburse"
you if there is no wind for 4 days in your trip or something. Not a good deal,
IMO. Other places I think do 7 sailing days out of 10, although slightly more
$ than 7 straight days.
