Subject: End of Season Party

End of Season Party
3rd Avenue (et al) Windsurfer Gathering

When
Saturday the 13th of December from 7:30pm 'till the wind dies'. Dangerously
close to the holidays, but sure to be considered an end of season activity.

Who's Invited
Anyone who can rig a sail, don a wet suit, and BS with the best of them.

Where - The Tied House Cafe and Brewery
The Tied House is a fascinating old warehouse, turned Cafe/Brewery, located in
Downtown Mountain View not too far from 101. They offer a generous selection
of foods and locally brewed beers that can satiate the pickiest feed
aficionados and beer hounds. They also offer a selection of non-alcoholic
beverages for those who wish not to drink.

Directions
Located at 954 Villa Street in Mountain View, the Tied House can be easily
reached from 101. Take the Moffet Blvd exit and head west (away from the
blimp hangers) crossing Central Expressway and the CalTrain crossing. Take a
right at the first light which should be Villa Street and head down a block
and a half passing Briant Street. The Tied House will be on the right side on
the corner of Villa and Franklin. Their address:

954 Villa Street,
Mountain View, CA 94041
(650)965-2739

Why
A couple of years ago, a few of the 3rd Avenue folks got together at the end
of the season to morn the decline of the wind and tell tall stories of jumps
that never happened or shouldn't have happened. In strict adherence to this
short-lived tradition, I felt it my duty to carry the torch through another
season.

Cost
Expect to chip in for hors d'oeuvres and any drinks that you might want. We
usually buy pitchers. I would expect about $10-15 a person

Questions
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any of the Email
addresses listed, or at my home phone number. If you need to see a map look
for it at www.tiedhouse.com or contact me and I'll send you one.

Respond
Please reply if you plan to attend so I can get a general head count. Also,
feel free to pass this along. I also have a MSWord (95 or 97) flyer if you
want to print and hand out.

Hope to see you there,
Tim Scudder
