One of my most memorable bay sails was on a north wind out of the Berkeley
Marina and straight to Angel Island. Instead of sailing perpendicular to the
old pier, you sail parallel. It is a long reach to Angel Island, probably
about 3 time the length of Crissy to Ft. Baker, but a nice change of pace
from the normal W/NW wind sailing. I can't remember how long it took to reach
Angel Island, but I do remember not seeing anyone else. At some point you will
probably have to sail through the old pier.

Are they sailable? Seems like you would be parallel to shore on
outbound, and right up the channel on inbound. Might make it a little
tough to get out.
