Got there at 5, it looked calm. Rigged 6.2 and waited
to see if any other sailors were out there. Thought I
saw a dude planning waaaayyy out in the channel.
Grabbed the big board, vivace 290, and hit the water.
I was rewarded with a nice 2 hour session - totally
powered the entire time, at times op'd. Justin, the
wild man, was hanging on to a 7.8 and making it
look rather easy with that funky board of his (man,
that thing goes upwind like a rocket).
The sunset was especially nice - the location of the
sun is perfect for 'under the gate' sunsets.
