euro boards are the greatest thing since sliced bread for sailing on a
lake in northern italy. for the bay, delta and coast you can't beat haut,
peirson arrow or asd. i prefer clark foam/polyester but the
sandwich/epoxy boards are great too. i'm still sailing a fiberglass santa
cruz built in 1988. it's had some repairs but still sails great, every
day the wind blows. i just hope my knees hold up to the chop as well as
the deck on a haut chop hopper! the local builders are a national
treasure. i hope we can keep them thriving.
