Absolutely! Even though it may be 80-90 degrees there, when you fall in that
stream of water from the bottom of the reservoir, it feels colder than the bay!
There must be a 20 degree difference in the "current" down the middle of the
forebay.
Make sure you check with the locals or the ranger to see what the current water
level is. Sometimes it can get low enough that there are some fin hazards out there.
