Has anyone been successful making calls on any kind of cell/pcs phone from the

Thanks.

I just wanted to correct my earlier post and confirm what one other
poster reported. I watched the signal strength meter on my PCS phone
carefully yesterday when I went to Sherman, and I noticed that coverage
drops off right around Delta Windsurf Co. at the turn-off of 160. The
outage contiunues until past the pumphouse where it picks up again.
Full-strength coverage near the Powerlines (made a couple calls, no
problems), and all the way down the levee road near the Access. I can't
guarantee full coverage on all of the levee road since I was trying to
keep my eyes on my driving! I guess this thing really is line-of-sight
since it drops off and picks up again so quickly.
Too bad it doesn't work on the coast.
