Maybe I shouldn't have gone to the clean-up after all. Seems like all the talk
about self rescue and the golf ball problems cursed me.

A couple of hours after our meeting, I headed out on my 5.0, and within 10
minutes broke my mast and had to swim in. Luckily I wasn't too far out and it
was flooding, so I only had to swim for ~45 min. I made it to one of the
downwind ramps fairly easily.

The next day I noticed a dent in the roof rack on my car. You can still the
dimples from where the ball hit. Another one to add to the list, Randy.

It's a good thing we didn't talk about sharks!
