I also purchased the Airwave fanny pack (from Helm) and had the belt pull
from the pack on Sunday. I've asked Helm to speak with the guys at Airwave
to reinforce where the belt connects to the bag. Currently they have only
one row of small sticthing connecting the belt to the pack - no where near
durable enough. Just as a heads up - after the break the bag floated so I
tied it to the back of my harness. This worked for awhile and then my knot
must have given way - another deposit of new equipment to the bottom of the
bay.

I just had one made by Airwave for $27 including shipping. It's
brand new so I don't know how durable it is yet, but the construction
seems pretty robust. Call Mark at 346-3806.
