Yes, the wind direction was pretty much directly on shore. It was really
gusty and hard to make a sail choice. The wind seemed to lull a bit and clock
even more on shore as I was rigging right around 4:00 or so. The call of the
wind archives was stating NW winds which is puzzling since I don't think NW
winds would be straight on shore at third. Is the wind direction of the
Coyote sensor accurate in N or NE winds?
How was the wind direction on the coast yesterday? Was it more North
(off-shore) than usual? At about 6:30AM today (wednsday) the wind was
actually side shore at Ocean Beach. Too bad I had to work.
Thanks.

As anyone made it to 3rd yesterday (tuesday) ?
Someone at work mention coyote wind was straight into the beach so people had
to sail close to shore. Yuck... What wind direction would not be good for 3rd
? (I've been there once with I think south wind which really sucked)
I've been going to the coast, but won't be able to make it today so I was
thinking of 3rd instead. Man was it windy at Davenport yesterday. bunch of
people were on 4.2s. Waves were head high to logo high at times. I was way
overpowered on my 4.7 (#210) at times. Wind started dropping around 5:30
(similar to monday). Today looks like another nuclear day...
