Rodrigo,

Do yourself a favor and buy a full suit, perferably a 4/3mm, if you are
going to be sailing in the bay. It will keep you warm, and more importantly
you will a much better chance of surviving a mishap if it occurs in the
channel. It is not advisable to sail in the Bay with a shortie at any time
of the year.
