The peak average speed for today, according to CoTW, was 42 mph at
Larkspur, the highest I've ever seen on the pager. The most I've ever
sailed according to CoTW was 29, and I was way op'd on a 3.5 (my
smallest). Somehow, sailing in 42 mph winds in a driving rain doesn't
sound like fun, but rather, downright painful. Did any rugged souls try
it, and what was it like? Sun. and Mon. reports are also welcome.
