I've seen the same things.
Sailed (big boat) through one of the little tornados once at Coyote. It was
stronger than we thought.
Driving across the bridge I've seen that whirlpool a few times too.
Traffic was moving so I didn't stick around to watch it.
Might be interesting to "see" what the surface does there.
