I'm just full of mail this am aren't I.

If your bar is chewing through your harness, go to REI and buy a piece of
2" tubular webbing - have them hot knife two 4" lengths. Slip one of these
over each of your harness webbing straps. Now the bar will chew through the
tubular webbing, and when that happens all you need to do is go to REI
again. An alternative is to go to a sail repair shop and have them continue
to replace/resew your harness.
