*I'm just a powerlines junkie who has no idea where windy cove is.*
*
*Could anybody post directions there?
*
*Thanks.
*Chris.
Chris: If you stay on Highway 12 instead of turning off to powerlines you
will pass windcraft, and go over a bridge. Windy Cove is a improved park which
will be on the left side after the bridge. It has ample parking, outhouses, and
a nice sandy launch. Further up the road on highway is the jungle and glass
beach. Generally speaking, during normal summer thermal wind patterns,
powerlines and sherman is. access offer better sailing, and better swells, but
on northerleries such as occurred on wednesday, windy cove > glass beach are
preferred.
Hope this helps.......
