COTW shows Sherman direction = 337, and Crissy at 360!
Forecast says nw-ne for the bay.
My question:
With the extreme northerly direction, does that mean this wind is
not thermally generated, and therefore would not be expected to follow
the normal pattern of subsiding at midday (which it already is doing),
then (more importantly), strengthening late this afternoon?
BTW, Santa Cruz was very windy this morning, but has since died down.

- that's about what COTW reported at 9:30-10:00, the 36 was from
about 7:30 this morning.
