Time to cut back on the donuts, eh Luigi? Seriously, though, I
eventually cut the collar on my windskin - I found it was better to be
a little colder than to choke (and have since replaced it altogether
with a body glove). Even though it is also a 4/3, and titanium to
boot, I don't think it is as warm, because it isn't all smooth rubber
like the windskin. The smooth vs nylon ratio seems to me the most
important, not the tightness of the collar.

Hi,

my trusty O'Neill Windskin 4/3 semi-dry has developed a common form of
neoprene terminal disease, and I would like to replace it. It has
served me well as a year-round suit for both bay and ocean, but the
collar is quite tight and it almost feels like it impedes circulation
--- in any case it's always a relief to take it off.

I am thinking of getting the kind with the zipper in the back and the
non-strangling low collar. It's also a 4/3. Does anybody have
experience with both? Is the latter significantly colder?

Thanks ---Luigi
