Launched at main launch 4:30 sunday afternoon. Ihad been watching from
the Marin headlands, could see whitecaps in tte middle, big light zone on
the SFShore. Saw 6 sailors doing fine on big sails. I took my time
getting ready, went with 5.9/8'8". This is my big stuff and gets me
planning just this side of whitecaps.

and away I went! Had to play with the harness lines a bit when I got
out into the windline, but got it under control and headed for the south
tower. there I was beautifully powered, the water was smooth, though no
breaking waves, just some swells rolling through. 6-10 players showed
for the jibe clinic - send it way deep and work on your laydown.

fog came over around 6, but it got more windy, not less. I was OPed and
struggling on the ride home. Nasty chop too.
