Check out Big Basin State Park directly across hwy 1 from Waddell.
There's a very mellow fire road that is open to bikes for 5 miles or so.
Bring a lock, there's a bike rack at the far end, then you can hike another
1/2 mile or so to some waterfalls. There's also trails at Wilder Ranch,
Forest of Nicene Marks, behind UCSC, etc. Contact a local bike shop for
details.
sorry to get off the topic of windsurfing.
