Fog doesn't necessarily mean wind at sherman. I look at the pressure
difference b/w SFO and Sacramento on Ken's wind report. If it is
greater than 0.10, there seems to be wind at Sherman. I know it's
more complicated than that, but the pressure diff seems more reliable
than the fog.

so, is there any correction factor to apply to the sherman isl
(windcraft) windtalker (916 777 7007)? This morn is fogged-in in the
bay, so common logic would be that it'd be blowing in the delta.
windtalker just now sez "SW, 8-19, avg 13" ...is there any fudge
factor to apply to that given wind direction, wind sensor location,
etc?

thanks,

Jeff "just hoping for wind in the delta this wkend"
