Got there around 5:30. Rigged my usual 7'10"/5.3 (185lbs).
Low tide, lightly flooding. Very flat inside. The wind line was a
couple hundred yards out. The channel still had some nice ramps. I was
fully powered for about an hour when it started coming down. Last 1/2
hour was stop and go (with a 7'10" I plane or I swim).
I heard that it picked up very strongly around 4:30. Almost everyone
was overpowered on 5.0 past the channel marker. And the ramps were
great. It lasted about 45 minutes until I came.,,

I saw that weird 90 degree reading too. It only lasted one page
though...something odd... I find the Coyote COTW to be pretty accurate
for 3rd. When things picked up after 4:30, COTW was paging 23 gusts
from the west which seemed to be accurate.

So, I've got to know. What was it like yesterday? I was on my way when
COTW went from NW @16 to E @ 17. The wind couldn't have been that strange,
could it? Anyway, I bagged it and now I'm questioning the integrity of
COTW's Coyote WTalker. Gimme your on-the-water observations? Thanks.
