- Umm, It was a "sailable" day, not epic. At least not until much later.
I got there at about 3:00 pm , rigged an 6.2/8'11"/#175 and sailed for
about 2hours. It dropped to very little at about 4:30 and then built up
again at about 5pm. I then rigged down to a 5.4 and sailed another hour. I
then exchanged my 8'11" for an 8'6" wave board and sailed another hour. It
didn't really start blasting until about 7:00pm. At 7:45 I quit. The wind
was still building, at 8:15 I had a really hard time getting my board on
the roof rack, I'd guess it was blowing about 25 knots by then.
