I did the same thing, but decided to go to crown sterling instead. I
didn't want to wait for the wind to show up at 3rd. Wednesday was a
wash, so I didn't want to repeat this. There was plenty of strong winds
right to the shore at crown when I got there (4:45). Rigged a 5.3/9'0"
(190#) and was fully to overpowered in the channel - then the wind came
down a bit - sailed until 7:00. Nice warm day with some nice swell (I
just love it when it ebbs).
