Sunday -

Pt Isabel (not to be confused with Lake Isabella) was very windy
for a very long time. I kept rigging sails until I got down
to the correct one, a 4.4 on my smallest board. No way did I
try to go out to the circle, up by Brooks Island I was getting
killed - the only way I could sheet in enough to attempt a jibe
was to sail into the wind shadow behind the island.

Today the weather is very different - raining on July 17th. Very
obnoxious.

Jay
