my understanding is that it's a board that can be used for slalom/bump/jump
(i.e. bay) sailing and for wave sailing. Mistral specificallly claims this for
the electron (see http://www.sccsi.com/Mistral/electron.html). move footstraps
forward for wave, back for slalom. dunno exacty what other manf's claim, might
be somewhat different per each.
