At this time we have a total of eight wetsuits---four of them at ASD,
and four pledged.

Here's a thought for would-be donors. I know an old wetsuit can
always come in handy, but does it in practice? Typically it just sits
there while the neoprene turns to dust. The Lake Merrit donation is
a good opportunity to do something good for society and at the same
time show how much we love this sport and what good people we
windsurfers are.

Giving poor kids an opportunity to windsurf is good not so much
because it will get them addicted to an expensive sport, but because
it will give them contact with people (us) who can be good role models
(well, most of us at least).

If there are no objections, please send all pledges to this mailing
list (you can guess why I am asking that). Thanks to all who have
donated so far ---Luigi
