O.K. I'm back in action. Windsurfing in C.R. was good but not great.
C.R. itself was great, a real adventure. To answer the questions:
2) The Pete's group would have equal access to all SFBA benefits (maybe
better than average, if they are really gung-ho).
3) Use of the money is not limited to political purposes. Many parties,
barbeques, and refreshments have been funded, although there is usually
a secondary objective of getting new members at these affairs.
4) Board members Kelly Wee and I should arrange for a contingent of the
Pete's people to come to the first SFBA board meeting of the year in a
couple of months. We should also arange some coordination with the
informal Third Avenue Action Committee.
5) There is plenty of flexibility and opportunity on the newsletter. It
is actually quite professional in design but production scheduling and
management of the membership list are not up to par. This is a high
priority to improve next year.
6) Yes you could get a banner for fund raising (or social) events. SFBA
has paid for such things in the past.
7) The mustard colored flyers summarize the SFBA history and mission
quite well. I can get you some, and most of the shops should have some,
or at least one. Kelly has also produced a safety brochure.

I hope to be at the March 23 meeting. The group has everything to gain
and nothing to lose by linking up with SFBA, and SFBA really needs some
fresh blood! (that is new, energetic people).
