I stayed at the Baja Surf Club, which is right next to Vela in a town
called Los Barilles. I think that the Vela resort there is
called Palmas De Cortez.

The town is pretty slow. There is some cool mountain bike riding and stuff,
but for people who like night life and shopping, it is kind of dull.

When I was there 5 years ago, both clubs had pretty good gear. The
sailing can be awesome (so I am told), but I was there on a bad week,
so it sucked. If I had the money and the time, I would probably go
back for two weeks.
