Saturday:
Sailed Chrissy late 4:00-6:00p on a 5.0/8'7" stinger. Powered to o.p.
definitely could've been on a size smaller sail, but was paranoid about
getting in (not a factor). Fog was in to Angel Is. Thick, but high.
Sunday:
Rio: missed the early wind, apparently in the 25 range from reports.
Sailed from 10:00- 11:30a on 5.6 / 8'7" stinger - fully powered and amazingly
steady for Rio this late in the year.
Chrissy: sailed late from 5:00-7:00p on 5.6 /8'7" stinger. Fully powered to
o.p. Much windier than it appeared from shore. Chop was somewhat confused for
1/2 the reach and smooth for the other half. Fog in thick in low by the end of
the session: couldn't see the Marin side, or GG bridge except for the tower
foundations, yet it was still blowing - but dark at 7:00.
K Sonoda 8'7" Mistral Stinger
145# 8'3" Gorge Animal
