Lost windsurfer Please Help:-
Twenty-three (23) years ago, at Coyote Point, a windsurfer was
rescued by an annonymous sailboater near the San Mateo Bridge. The
windsurfer\\'s name is not known. At the time, Fall of 1987, he was
about 28 years old (about 51 now) an engineer from Denver (CO),
visiting a friend here in the Bay area. He was an Asian male, was
wearing only short pants & short shirts light weight wet suit. His
friend alerted the sailboater & asked him to help his friend. The
windsurfer was not used to the challenging conditions of the Bay and
was having trouble tacking up-wind back to Coyote Point. The
sailboater found him in the water, clinging to his sailboard and in
distress. Anyone having information about this incident, please
contact Chuck Dougherty @ vasonaboating@aol.com-DeleteThis.com or (408)972-1188.
Thank You.
